Favorite curry powder ever! |

This is a really nice, not too hot curry powder. Used alone on baked chicken breasts it's lovely but not as flavorful as I'd like on every bit (use the salt-free Essence of Emeril for that). I like to make a curry with it adding chicken seasoned with it and adding more of it to the curry mix. I use a butter (or butter and coconut milk or virgin coconut oil for more coconut flavor) sauce (just melted butter and a bit of heavy cream) or coconut milk or oil sauce. It plays nicely with all of them when mixed with veggies (plain cooked cabbage plays really well as a low-carb curry base with this).
I've tired authentic foreign brands, but I like this one the best. I think of it more as Thai vs Jamaican by taste. I really love it, and curry with it is one of my favorite dishes. Try it even if you are not fond of plain Indian Curry powder (I am not). If you want more heat to it, add some hot sauce or sirrachi.
